By connecting members through a centralised database of assets, we help increase the re-use of props, furniture and other materials used across the arts industry in Scotland.
So how does this work?
As a member you have access to other members' assets which you can request to borrow, and they can ask to borrow yours.
The arts industry in Scotland has always had a natural sharing infrastructure — so what does ARMS do differently? By being part of a digital catalogue it is easier to browse and book items from other participants. You don't need to drive to their stores to look around. You don't need to wait on someone calling you back to say whether they have something in stock. It opens up items to a wider and growing arts community.
